Rachel obtained her law degree from the University of the West of England, Bristol, United Kingdom in 2004. She then obtained her Certificate of Legal Practice in 2008 and gained admission to the High Court of Malaya as an Advocate and Solicitor in 2009.
After commencing her legal practice as a general practitioner in Malaysia, Rachel spent two years working at a full range IP firm in Singapore. Having initially joined the Firm in 2019 as an IP Executive, Rachel has since returned to legal practice as an Associate of the firm in 2023. Rachel brings with her a wealth of working knowledge on IP matters in Singapore as well as the South East Asia region. Rachel’s expertise lies in handling trademark matters and her day-to-day responsibilities include supporting lawyers in trademark prosecution matters including clearance searches, advising on filing strategies and attending to office actions. She also assists clients in trademark opposition proceedings and is vastly experienced in worldwide trademark coordination.
Being a travel enthusiast, Rachel has explored various major cities around the world and surprisingly never suffers from jetlag. She is forever keen to discover new destinations and expand her souvenir collection.
