Kathreena obtained her law degree from the University of Hull, United Kingdom in 2018. She was then admitted as a Barrister-at-Law in England & Wales in 2019 and thereafter, as an Advocate and Solicitor in the High Court of Malaya in 2021. Prior to joining the firm, Kathreena primarily focused on dispute resolution and advisory matters of various legal intricacies which included TMT, corporate, commercial, tort, energy, employment and contract law.
Kathreena’s current practice broadly covers various IP areas. Her current portfolio includes patent and trademark prosecution which covers conducting IP clearance, advising clients on filing strategies and dealing with office actions. Kathreena is also involved in the areas of TMT, brand protection and enforcement, franchise registration and regulatory compliance.
Out of the office, Kathreena enjoys her free time watching K-dramas, singing her heart out to K-drama OSTs and K-pop, exploring nature and spending time with her loved ones (especially with her cute furry friend, Sophie).
