Joyce Tan

Joyce obtained her law degree from the University of Reading, United Kingdom in 2016. She was then admitted as a Barrister-at-law, England & Wales in 2017 and as an Advocate and Solicitor in the High Court of Malaya in 2018.
Joyce’s practice is focused on trademark prosecution matters. Her day-to-day work includes advising clients on trademark filing strategies, conducting clearance searches and dealing with various office actions, including attending ex-parte hearings at MyIPO. Joyce also has vast experience in worldwide trademark coordination and has assisted various clients with managing their extensive trademark portfolios in multiple jurisdictions. She also assists clients with the prosecution of patent applications in Malaysia and is regularly engaged in brand enforcement work.
Joyce is a member of the International Trademark Association (INTA).
Outside of work, Joyce enjoys watching serial TV dramas (but not movies) and travelling with her family and friends.
